Call for Abstracts
The Course Directors of the Second Annual Thursday Liver Symposium invite the submission of abstracts in one of the categories listed below. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive update on the status of research and stimulate collaborations, recruitment of subjects, and ideas for developing other studies. Authors may submit abstracts of completed work, work in progress, or work presented elsewhere within the past 12 months.

Wednesday, October 22, 2025
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and selected.
Abstract Categories

Posters related to genetics, precision medicine, and biomarkers will be most appropriate for MASH, A1AT-LD, and cirrhosis topics.

MetALD posters are not included in this session
Abstract Formatting Instructions
-
Limit abstracts to one page, typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, single-spaced with one-inch margins, and left justified.

Abstracts can contain graphs.

Organize the abstract into Background/Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Define all abbreviations. Include the abstract category, abstract title, full names and institutional affiliations of all authors, and email address of the corresponding author at the top of the abstract.

Abstracts must not contain copyrighted material unless permission has been obtained by the author. Indicate at the bottom of the page if the abstract has been presented elsewhere and at what meeting. ​​
​​Poster Rules & Instructions

Awarded poster abstracts should be emailed using landscape orientation.

Posters will be displayed in the Exhibit Hall on a monitor for the duration of the conference.

a. No. Posters will only be displayed on a monitor

Can I submit previously published work?
a. Yes.

Who can submit an abstract for the conference?
a. Any Fellow, Physician, Advanced Practice Provider or Platinum, Gold, Silver & Bronze conference sponsors.
b. Non-sponsoring industry abstracts will not be accepted.
